History of the Coastal Home Gallery began when two natives of Carteret County birthed an idea that most people said was too far out of the box to be a success.  Brian Bass of Audio Interiors and Jason Yeomans of Windows & More, A Marvin Design Gallery began pitching their idea to what they felt like were the “A” group of home product retailers in Morehead City, New Bern, Greenville, Jacksonville and the surrounding market.  The idea began catching on and after several failed attempts to acquire just the right piece of property in Morehead City, they settled on the current location.  A contract was signed with a commercial builder and a showroom size was finalized.

The services of Donna Wells, of D’s Interior Design in Sneads Ferry, were obtained to produce a layout of real-home-sections to create what has come to be known as the Coastal Home Gallery in Carteret County, Morehead City.  The idea was to create a series of rooms to integrate all the retailers products together just as they could be done in a customers’ home.  Making these product selections can be difficult for a homeowner, but especially when trying to do it from magazines and small samples.  Hence, the idea to supply consumers with a showroom where innovative and state of the art products are shown in true to life sizes, shapes and styles.  All of the Coastal Home Gallery retailers have put forth much effort, imagination, and personal design, coordinated by a professional interior designer to make your visit to the Coastal Home Gallery one that is most of all beneficial, but also truly memorable.  We hope that you become as inspired about your project as we are passionate about the Coastal Home Gallery.
